Received some info regarding H1N1 fr my colleagues via e-mail… Please take note that since the virus consists genetic elements of NOT ONLY PIG VIRUS, therefore it is not fair for the pigs, of course, to take the blame…

Therefore WHO is considering naming the virus Mexican Flu H1N1. However, I think Mexican will not be happy to call it that way, just like M’sian will not be happy if we name Nipah Virus as M’sian Virus or ‘Boleh-land’ Virus…

The pandemic phase has been raised from 4 to 5 by WHO. Hopefully it won’t become a phase 6 pandemic. For those who plan to travel to the affected country… please re-plan your journey, just to be safe then sorry.

In the mean while, please feel free to boost your immune system.

Swine Flu H1N1 @ Mexican Flu H1N1

1.. The term Swine Flu H1N1 is misleading, WHO is considering naming it Mexican (North American) Flu H1N1

2.. The virus is so unusual, never been detected before in human and animals with genetic pieces from 4 different virus sources.

3.. Culling of pigs have little help, since the virus transmit human to human. No evident the virus can transmit from human to pig.

4.. With raising fatality cases in Mexico, a fatal case in US and possible more countries with humans tested positive for this virus, WHO has raised the pandemic phase from 4 to 5. Level 6 is a flow blown pandemic characterized by wide spread human infection.

5.. Antiviral under the generic name – Relenza and Tamiful are effective against this virus.

6.. Stay health and boost you immune system.

7.. Many herbs, vitamin C, etc  can boost immune system and show anti-viral effects.

马新社开了新任首相一个大玩笑!?!

这是偶然间从　Susan Loone 那里看到的。

马新社（Bernama）作为这个国家的官方口舌，竟然搞不懂我们新任首相的大名？真的搞不懂何以马新社（Bernama）会犯这种错误？马新社请来的人，难不成是外劳？把 Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak 写成 Datuk Seri Naif Ton Rasa ???

看到《独立新闻在线》的记者被拒绝采访，《哈拉卡》和《公正之声》之前被禁没有？想死啊？等下 ban 你ban到够够力就知道！

幸好马新社的错误，后来“及时”（就算怎么及时，也被眼尖的读者看到了）被纠正了(纠正版) 。。否则，惹来外国读者误会我们“又”换首相就不好了嘛！！！

心地善良的纳吉还刚刚释放了１３位内安法令的扣留者，应该会“大人不记小人过”吧。。。马新社的那位工作人员，应该还不至于那么快变成“陈云清”第二。

下次，请记得找本地工人，把稿校对妥了才放上来，OK ?

Innocent Until Proven Guilty

看了这篇出自曾聒文章， 我真的有话要说。

内按法令：防范 vs 人权

昨日出席《全民辩翻天》，主持人在结束之前问及现场观众，是否有见过内安法令，几乎没有任何出席观众看过。在还没有接受出席担任后座评论员之前，我和波力拔克有沟通过，我们除了出席的观众没有见过内安法令，可能连台上的人都没有看过，看来大家都在捕风捉影。

那么每次内安法令的聚会或是台下观众发言时他们的内容是什么？
主观看法：大家所了解的都是报章上的报道，民权组织的文章和台上嘉宾所陈述的内容发表，因此这算是有根据吗？
昨晚，一些台上嘉宾指出调内安法令要增加司法审核，以便透明化内安法令，并且强调内安法令是防范性法令；一些观众不赞同修改，因为“内安法令的灵魂是无审讯扣留”，所以增加司法审核等于废除。

内安法令＝防范性法令？
内安法令＝无审讯扣留？

这就足以证明社会上很多给予民众的资讯是有偏离性的，内安法令、毒品防范法令和紧急法令都是有一段是无审讯先扣留，这是因为事情的迫切性，而且防范的定义不像司法的证据论点，司法的证据是发生了才有，如果等到发生才用或许后果会更惨痛，而且可能都用不上了。

马来西亚1960年的内部安全法令(ISA)是实行在马来西亚的一种预防性拘留法令。立法是继承１９５７年马来西亚获得独立后，英国殖民所留下的法令。从本质上讲，它可以不需要任何审判和某些特定情况下逮捕任何人。

在世界上，马来西亚是属于少数国家在太平盛世使用内安法令，在其他国家保护基本人权是理解的基本要求。
无审讯扣留在很多法律和人权常识来看，确实不合理，可是在防范的意义重大，在面临国家防范措施和人权，你怎么说？

我们处在一个文明的社会，法制的社会，一个文明的国家。

“INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY“

这句话， 说明了法律的“无枉无纵”的精神。

如果说一个人是恐怖分子，那么，请堂堂正正的拿出证据来告他。把他抓起来，把他控到法庭上，把他定罪。
如果没有证据，请不要无辜扣留一个人。让一个人，两年又两年。。。不知道要关到何年何月。
他有罪吗？你根本没有证据证明。
那么，那就是和“诬赖”没有任何分别。也根本不算是受到“法律的制裁”。

大马现有的法律，难道就不足以提控一个人？

我们除了出席的观众没有见过内安法令，可能连台上的人都没有看过，看来大家都在捕风捉影。

什么是“有根据”的说法？我亲耳听过 HISHAMUDDIN RAIS 的经验之谈，我也听过 RPK 的经验之谈。我更听过和扣留者并肩作战的扣留者妻子，家人，律师，还有助理等等的经验。扣留者在扣留营里面的生活；扣留者家人在扣留营外的奔波，失去一家之主的迷惘，他们的痛苦。。。这些，难到这些受害者的亲身经历，是在“捕风捉影”，不足以成为“根据”吗？

抑或是，有些人仍然单纯的以为，主流媒体和官方媒体几经修饰后的报道，才可称得上是“根据”？这些人，又是从哪里得来的“根据”？ 首相？内政部长？还是马华总会长？这些人， 连Kamunting在哪里都没到过，他们可以给些什么”根据”？

司法的证据是发生了才有，如果等到发生才用或许后果会更惨痛，而且可能都用不上了。

倘若有一天，当权者憎恨一个人，那是不是意味着他可以用这个方法，把一个人永远关起来？
谈若有一天，当权者看你不顺眼，是不是就可以硬说你是一个恐怖分子，把你关起来？
若你不是，却没有机会辩驳时，你会不会后悔今天的无知？
到那时，当权者是否成功制止了“或许”你会成为恐怖分子的“后果”？

那么，我到建议政府把所有改装过摩托车，30岁以下的年轻人统统用内安法令抓起来。因为这些人都有嫌疑飚车，制造混乱，打劫，伤人。。。甚至杀人。基本上，他们的行为，与恐怖分子没什么两样。走在街上，我分分钟都在担心被打死呢！或许，死在这些人手上的无辜市民，会比恐怖分子杀死的多。

把有飚车嫌疑的人统统无期限的关起来，政府就可以成功制止更多无辜市民被打死的“后果”了。

是否看过TOM CRUISE主演的MINORITY REPORT? 利用“预言“， 来“防范”罪案。但是既然罪案还未发生，那么也没有证据证明罪案发生过。我们的当权者有如此的预言本事吗？

“或许”后果会惨痛？ 如果不是呢？如果根本没有什么“后果”呢？那么，谁要为自己错误判断，导致一个无辜的人，失去了自由而付出代价？首相？内政部长？

或许啊。。。或许。。。

那么，罪案有发生过吗？发生了吗？

INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY。

Trip to Kamunting to convey Raya greetings

I have just been informed by the Bukit Bendera MP’s office that they, along with several Penang-based civil society activists, are planning a drive to the Kamunting Detention Centre in Taiping on the second day of Raya to convey their greetings to the ISA detainees:

Flowers, cards and gifts, if any, will be passed on to Raja Petra and the other ISA detainees to let them know that they are not forgotten on this special day.  RPK’s wife Marina has been informed of the event and hope that she will also be able to join us. The Press will also be invited for this event.
